Kirstin Stevenson has extensive experience in the field of communications and public relations. Kirstin is currently the Head of Communications at STV Group plc, where they lead the PR, Corporate Comms, and Press Office for various organizations under the STV Group, including STV, STV Player, and STV Studios. Kirstin is also responsible for driving the Public Affairs strategy and engagement for the business.

Prior to their current role, Kirstin worked at Wire as a General Manager from October 2017 to September 2019. During this time, they led a team to develop campaigns and deliver wide-reaching profiles for clients such as Graham's The Family Dairy, Menabrea Italian beer, Tennent's Lager, DF Concerts, and Jura. Kirstin also actively pursued new business opportunities across sectors, showcasing their skills in campaign strategy and management, media relations, crisis communication, influencer relations, and events.

Before joining Wire, Kirstin worked at Spreng & Co as a Director from July 2012 to February 2015. In this role, they led numerous accounts across sectors, managing media relations, issue management, and delivering creative stunts for maximum social media exposure. Kirstin also facilitated sessions and provided media training.

Earlier in their career, Kirstin was a PR Manager at STV from June 2004 to July 2012, where they gained valuable experience in the media industry. Kirstin began their career at Ofcom as a Media & PR Officer from September 2000 to June 2004.

Throughout their career, Kirstin has demonstrated strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and expertise in various aspects of communications, including public relations, media relations, crisis communication, influencer relations, and events. Kirstin has worked with clients across multiple sectors and has a proven track record in delivering successful campaigns and maximizing social media exposure.

Kirstin Stevenson attended the University of Glasgow from 1996 to 2000, where they earned a first-class MA Hons degree in Sociology and Film TV Studies.
