Jolyon Saunders has a diverse work experience, having worked in various roles for different companies since 2010. In 2010, they worked as an Electronics Technician for the Royal Australian Navy, where they were responsible for maintenance, repair, and operation of Naval radar systems, communication systems, weapons systems, and CNC machinery. In 2015, they worked as a Developer for StopRotor Unmanned Aerial Systems, where they were responsible for research and development of aircraft control systems, implementation of airborne sensor data logging systems, and control system data log analysis and aircraft prototype testing. In 2016, they worked as a Software Developer and Intern for GE Australia, New Zealand & Papua New Guinea, where they provided ongoing support for iOS applications and internal websites, and project managed the development and release of a company-first application. In 2017, they worked as a Software Engineer for BALLN, where they primarily worked on iOS app development and research and development, and used deep learning and computer vision frameworks to build, train, test, and optimize on-device visual tracking algorithms. Since 2018, they have worked as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer for Style Arcade.

Jolyon Saunders completed a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design from the University of Canberra between 2006 and 2012. Jolyon then went on to complete a Cert. IV Electronics & Communication in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Ultimo TAFE between 2012 and 2013. Finally, they completed a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from UNSW between 2016 and 2018.
