Scott Stahl

Scott Stahl has had a varied and extensive work experience. From 2007 to 2016, they worked as an Estimator for Oot Brothers, a Software Engineer for OnShift, and an Apprentice for The Software Guild. During this time, they gained proficiency in React for web development, React-Native for mobile development, Node.js & Python for backend APIs, Netlify & Heroku for deploying, and other assorted tricks of the trade. From 2016 to 2019, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer for StyleSeat, where they built a marketplace for customers to discover and schedule services with stylists, barbers, and other beauty professionals. Scott worked with React, Python, AWS, and more. In 2021, they became Team Lead for the payments & pro team, and in 2022 they were promoted to Senior Software Engineer for the frontend platform team. From 2009 to 2016, Scott was Vice President - Operations at Rochester Lumber Company, where they were responsible for directing daily and long-term strategy for company operations and IT. From 2012 to 2015, they were Co-Owner and Management Partner of Forge Hot Sauce.

Scott Stahl graduated from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Wood Products Engineering.
