Steve Kleis has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. Steve began their career at HNI Corporation in 1986, holding various roles in engineering, purchasing, factory management, and general management. Steve eventually became a General Manager at a $100M plant before moving on to their next position. In 2001, they joined Knoll as the VP of Engineering, a role they held until 2019. Steve then transitioned to the position of SVP of Product Development until their departure in 2022. Currently, they are the VP of Manufacturing at Stylex.
Steve Kleis attended Iowa State University from 1980 to 1985, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering.
