Chris Wilson

Chris Wilson has extensive work experience in the field of biomedical research. Chris is currently working at Stylus Medicine as the Senior Vice President of the Genome Engineering Platform, a position they assumed in March 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Editas Medicine for a period of 8 years, where they held several roles including Vice President of Lead Discovery from January 2021 to January 2023, Senior Director of Lead Discovery from July 2017 to January 2021, and Director of Lead Discovery from September 2015 to July 2017.

Before joining Editas Medicine, Chris worked at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research (NIBR) for 10 years, where they held various positions, including Senior Research Investigator II from January 2013 to September 2015, Senior Research Investigator II from December 2010 to January 2013, Senior Research Investigator I from September 2009 to December 2010, Research Investigator II from September 2007 to September 2009, and Research Investigator I from August 2005 to September 2007.

Chris'searlier work experience includes a role as an Investigator at ArQule in 2004, a Group Leader at Akceli from 2001 to 2003, and a Scientist at Millennium Pharmaceuticals in 2000. Additionally, Chris worked as a Scientist at Corning Life Sciences from May 1999 to September 2000.

Chris began their career as a Graduate Student at Whitehead Institute from April 1994 to April 1999 and gained research experience as an Undergraduate Researcher at Rutgers University from June 1992 to August 1993.

Chris Wilson obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Rutgers University from 1989 to 1993. Following this, they pursued their academic career at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they completed their Doctor of Philosophy degree in Biology from 1993 to 1999.
