Astrid Steensen

Astrid Steensen has a diverse work experience that spans different sectors and roles. Astrid most recently worked as the Head of Section at the Danish Agency of Labour Marked and Recruitment, where they focused on social security, law-making, policy-making, and implementation of EU-legislation. Astrid also prepared meeting materials for various committees and working parties. Astrid previously worked as a National Expert at the European Commission in the DG Employments department. Prior to that, they worked as a Consultant at Danske Regioner, where they were responsible for overenskomsterne for de privatpraktiserende fysioterapeuter, fodterapeuter, and kiropraktorer. Astrid also handled political tasks and served as a secretary for multiple committees and foundations. Astrid's early work experience includes roles as part of the Djøf talent program, an intern at Danske Regioner, a student assistant at Solrød Kommune, and a supervisor at Sunset Boulevard.

Astrid Steensen attended Roskilde University from 2011 to 2017, where they obtained a Master of Political Science degree. During their time at Roskilde University, they specialized in International Public Administration and Politics. In 2013, Astrid also briefly studied Political Affairs at Université de Montréal.
