Jacob Gutierrez

Jacob Gutierrez has extensive experience in the medical field and healthcare administration, currently serving as both an Administrative Assistant and Medical Assistant at Su Clinica since June 2013. Responsibilities include vital signs recording, venipuncture, patient preparations, assisting in GYN procedures, and administrative tasks such as scheduling and insurance verification. Jacob also holds a position as a Policy Fellow at the United Methodist Association of Health and Welfare Ministries since October 2014. Previous experience includes a Medical Assistant externship at Valley Baptist Hospital and a role as a Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant at Valley Baptist Medical Center. Jacob's education includes a Master's in Organizational Leadership and Psychology from Our Lady of the Lake University, multiple psychology degrees from Argosy University Dallas and the University of Texas at Brownsville, and an Associate of Arts in Social Work. Jacob is also a Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant.
