James Bowpitt

James Bowpitt has an extensive work history in the finance and risk management sectors. James has worked for various companies, starting with GeoConsult Pty Ltd as a Chemist from June 2008 to January 2013. James then joined Macquarie Group as an Operations Administrator from August 2013 to January 2015. James worked as a Market Risk Officer for MUFG from January 2015 to August 2016. James then joined Commonwealth Bank, where they held roles as a Risk Platform Analyst from August 2016 to June 2017 and as a Configuration and Controls Analyst from July 2017 to February 2018. James then moved to Santander UK, where they worked as a Liquidity Risk Analyst from February 2018 to September 2018 and as a Liquidity Reporting Manager from September 2018 to October 2019. After that, they worked for MUFG as a VP Market & Liquidity Risk from January 2020 to January 2022. Most recently, James worked at Bolt as an Operations Manager from January 2022 to June 2022, and then as a Senior Operations Manager from July 2022 to September 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Risk and Regulatory Reporting at Suade Labs, starting in November 2022.

James Bowpitt completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (Honours) in Chemistry from QUT (Queensland University of Technology) from 2005 to 2008. James then pursued a Master of Commerce in Applied Finance from The University of Queensland, graduating in 2012. Additionally, in 2010, James spent a year studying at Università Bocconi but did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study during their time there.
