Claus Schmidt Møller started their work experience in 1987 at V. Loewener as a Mechanical Engineer. Claus Schmidt then worked as a Mechanical development consultant from 1993 to 1997 for various companies including Ginge-Kerr, Vølund, Alfa Laval Desalt A/S, F. L. Schmith, Nilfisk A/S, and Novo Nordisk A/S. From 1997 to 1999, they worked as a Mechanical Engineer in the R&D department at Novo Nordisk A/S. In 1999, Claus became the Inventor, founder, and owner of CPU Innovation ApS, where they invented and patented medical devices and had partnerships with companies such as Eli Lilly, Becton Dickinson, Ypsomed AG, Owens Illinois, Cambridge Consultants, and Knudsen Plast A/S. Lastly, since 2017, Claus has been working as the Founder and CTO at Subcuject ApS, where they focus on developing a disposable WBI device for large volume injections using patented osmosis technology and venture capital from Capnova and Vækstfonden.

Claus Schmidt Møller started their education at Sct. Joergens School, where they completed their elementary school education from 1970 to 1979. Claus Schmidt then attended Naestved Gymnasium from 1979 to 1982, where they obtained their high school degree. Claus further pursued higher education at Syddansk Universitet from 1983 to 1987, where they earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Energy.
