Mrinal Haloi

Mrinal (Ishant) Haloi has a diverse work experience starting from 2013. Mrinal(Ishant) began as a Summer Research Assistant at the Department of Design Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad in 2013 and later worked as a Summer Research Assistant at the International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore in 2014. Mrinal(Ishant) then joined Nanyang Technological University as a Deep Learning Lead in 2015, where they were responsible for leading the object detection and classification project for Singapore MHA's CCTV Surveillance program.

In 2016, Mrinal became a Co-Founder and CTO at Artificial Learning Systems, where they worked towards developing AI-assisted software for automatic analysis and eliminating the need for doctors in screening and diagnosis. Additionally, they maintained open-source software for AI models training and deployment at OpenAGI.

In 2017, Mrinal joined minds.ai as a Neural Network Architect, specializing in deep learning model architectures. Mrinal(Ishant) continued to work in this role until their next position at Subex in 2020, where they became the Head of Deep Learning COE, leading the deep learning initiatives.

Mrinal (Ishant) Haloi holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati. Prior to that, they completed their Higher Secondary Level education in Science at Cotton College, Guwahati, Assam, India. Mrinal(Ishant)'shigh school education was obtained at HIRS, where they studied General Knowledge & General Science. Additionally, Mrinal has obtained several certifications in various subjects, including software architectures, programming, data analysis, digital media, mobile apps, databases, and network security.
