Tres T. has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles.
Starting in 1998, Tres worked as a Tech | Quality Assurance Consultant & Technical Writer at IKON Office Solutions. From there, they moved on to Outward Bound USA in 1999, where they served as a Logistics Manager. Additionally, Tres worked as a Program Director at School to Career, Bend-La Pine Schools, overseeing district-wide career readiness implementation.
In 2000, Tres transitioned to the role of Media and Communications Manager at The Athletic Club of Bend. They also served as an AP English Teacher at Bend-La Pine School District during this time.
In 2008, Tres took on the position of Director of Blended & Online Learning Programs, Pre.K-12 at Bend La-Pine School District. In this role, Tres focused on program creation, implementation, and oversight for 33 schools and 18,000 students.
From 2016 to 2021, Tres worked at Stride, Inc. as a National Account Manager, Outside Sales, California. They later joined Newsela as a Senior Enterprise Account Executive in 2021 and transitioned to GSVlabs in 2016 as a Mentor in the EdTech Start-Up Accelerator program.
Currently, Tres is employed as a Senior District Partnerships Account Executive at Subject, starting in 2023.
Tres T. has a diverse education history. In 1988, they attended Wheeler High School and completed their high school education. Subsequently, from 1992 to 1996, Tres T. pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree at Prescott College, specializing in Alternative Secondary Education and Outdoor Education. Following their undergraduate studies, they enrolled at The New School from 1996 to 1998, where they obtained a Master of Science in Teaching (MST) degree in Secondary Education and Teaching. Lastly, Tres T. attended Lewis and Clark College from 2013 to 2014, focusing on Secondary Educational Leadership & Administration, thereby obtaining a degree in Educational Leadership and Administration.
In addition to their formal academic education, Tres T. has obtained several certifications. Specifically, they completed the MEDDPICC sales qualification methodology certification from MEDDICC in October 2022, and they also obtained an MEDDPICC certification from Newsela in the same month and year.
