Kate Strangfeld is an experienced educator and curriculum developer with a strong focus on secondary science education and innovative instructional resources. Currently serving as the Curriculum & Professional Development Lead for the Science & Cooking for Secondary Educators Program at Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Kate has led professional development workshops for over 160 teachers and manages data analysis on the program's impact. Kate is also the founder of Bite Scized Education, develops climate-focused curricula for SubjectToClimate, and co-founded Beyond the Kitchen, a program that introduces cooking workshops for children and families. Previous experiences include teaching integrated science at Washington International School, serving as a science teacher at KIPP DC, and completing internships at The White House and Yale Rudd Center. Kate holds a Master of Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education and a BA in Political Science and Biology from Middlebury College, complemented by culinary training from the Natural Gourmet Institute.
