Nicole Douglass has a diverse work experience in the sailing and broadcasting industry. Nicole has worked as an Adrenaline Lounge Host for SailGP, providing VIP hospitality in various locations. Nicole also has experience as a Sports Commentator for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, specifically in sailing events. Additionally, they have worked as a Sailing Content Manager & Presenter/Commentator for Hamilton Island Race Week, managing content and logistics for the event. Nicole has also held roles as PR & Communications Lead for the Submarine Institute of Australia and Founder & Director of Sunset Media, where they provided communication and audio-visual services to different clients. Nicole is the Founder & Director of Adventures of a Sailor Girl, a network for sailing content, and has also worked in various roles for organizations such as the Royal Geelong Yacht Club, Etchells Australia, Sunset+Vine, and the Boating Industry Association Ltd.
Nicole Douglass completed their education with a Graduate Diploma of Psychology from Charles Sturt University in 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Diploma of Marketing Communications from the University of Technology Sydney in 2007. Nicole also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication (Public Communication) from the same university, which they completed in 2006. Their studies at the University of Technology Sydney included majors in Public Relations, Advertising, and Culture. Nicole started their educational journey at Canberra Girls Grammar School in 2001, where they pursued various subjects including English Language and Literature, General and Earth Sciences, earning a UAI in 2002.
