Keriann Lynch Strickland has over 12 years of experience in marketing, content marketing, public relations, journalism, and teaching. Keriann began their career in 2007 as a Reporter for the Flathead Beacon, a weekly newspaper and daily news website in Northwest Montana owned by Maury Povich and Connie Chung. In 2009, they became an Adjunct Instructor and Graduate Teaching Fellow at the University of Utah, where they taught communication and journalism courses, developed new online courses, and was a guest lecturer for the University of Utah's public health department. In 2011, they joined Alliance Health Networks as a Managing Editor (Content Marketer). In 2013, they became a Senior Marketing Manager at Waterford.org. In 2018, they began working at Submittable, where they have held the roles of Chief Marketing Officer, Vice President of Product Marketing, Director of Product & Content Marketing, and Senior Marketing Manager, Brand & Content. In 2022, they became a Member of Chief, a private network built to drive more women into positions of power.
Keriann Lynch Strickland received their Bachelor's degree in Print Journalism from the University of Montana. Keriann then went on to earn their Master's degree in Communication Studies from the University of Utah. Additionally, they graduated from the University of Utah's Integrated Marketing Professional Certificate Program. Finally, they have completed coursework with the Product Marketing Alliance.
