Lead Structural Engineer at Subsea 7

Jayakumar Ganesan is a highly experienced structural engineer with extensive expertise in design and project management. Currently serving as a Lead Structural Engineer at Subsea 7 since July 2017, notable projects include the design of installation aids for the replacement of 17 cranes for Saudi Aramco, as well as upgrades for the EMAS Offshore Vessel "7 Champion." Prior to Subsea 7, Jayakumar held positions as Lead Structural Engineer and Senior Structural Engineer at KBR, Inc., where significant contributions were made to the Maersk Culzean project, including the analysis and design of a central processing facility and associated modules. Experience also includes a tenure at McDermott International Inc., focusing on offshore structures, and at Larsen and Toubro (ECC Limited) as a Senior Design Engineer, contributing to major industrial and airport buildings. Jayakumar holds a Master’s degree in Structural Engineering from the College of Engineering, Guindy and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Bharath Institute of Science and Technology.
