Jimmy Halvardsson

Jimmy Halvardsson is an experienced marine consultant with a strong background in engineering and business improvement. Currently employed at Subsea 7 since April 2014, Jimmy has held key positions including Marine Consultant and Chief Engineer for the PLSV "Seven Rio." Prior to this, Jimmy worked at Volstad Maritime AS from January 2008 to April 2014, serving as Chief Engineer on various vessels, including the MOCV "Volantis" and DSV "Bibby Topaz." Jimmy's earlier career includes engineering roles with Laurin Maritime, Stena Bulk/Roro/NMM, Gorton/Transatlantic, and Metalock Engineering, which provided diverse experiences in marine operations and mechanical engineering. Jimmy holds an Executive MBA in Oil and Gas from Robert Gordon University and a Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology.
