Michael Costa is an experienced Executive Project Director with a strong background in leading large-scale offshore projects and strategic alliances in the energy sector. Currently with Subsea 7 since May 2020, Costa oversees the SIA alliance for the Bacalhau Field project in Brazil. Prior experience includes serving as Asia Pacific Projects Portfolio Executive Director at GE Power, where leadership was provided for gas power projects in Taiwan, and holding key roles at BW Offshore and Bumi Armada, emphasizing business development and major FPSO project management. Costa’s career began at SBM Offshore, progressing from Project Manager to Project Director with significant CAPEX responsibilities across various international projects. Educational qualifications include a Mechanical Engineer degree and a Master in Mechanics & Materials Science from prestigious institutions in France.
