Steven Russ

Steven Russ is an experienced engineering professional specializing in remote intervention and remote operated vehicles (ROVs). Currently serving as ROV Discipline Deputy Manager at Subsea 7 since December 2021, Steven oversees engineering teams on global projects while focusing on resource planning and talent development. Previous roles include consulting for The HALO Trust, where Steven designed a prototype crawler for explosive device detection, and positions at Subsea 7 and Technip as a Senior Engineer and Project Engineer, respectively. With extensive experience dating back to 1999, including freelance work with Fathoms Ltd and technical roles at Boston Shipping, Steven holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The University of Manchester.
