Chris Hankins is a highly experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with a career spanning over two decades across various companies. Currently at Subsite Electronics since January 2018, Chris has led major redesigns to enhance product functionality and manufacturability while managing project schedules. Prior positions include work at Calix and Keysight Technologies, focused on OSP telecommunications product design and automated test equipment, respectively. Additionally, Chris has held significant roles at IDEX Health & Science and Enphase Energy, leading cost reduction projects and innovative mounting solutions for solar modules. Early career experience includes design at ITT/BIW Connector Systems and Tellabs, culminating in a strong foundation in mechanical engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, where a BS in Mechanical Engineering was earned.
