Subtext is an easy-to-use accessibility system that drives media engagement by displaying captions and providing audio content on users’ smartphones, perfectly synchronized with any media source.

Subtext was built by a team of immersive storytellers who understand the importance language plays in creating rich, impactful experiences that can reach a global audience. In developing Subtext, we thought deeply about the balance of aesthetics and accessibility, while also considering varying project deadlines and turnaround needs, budgets, and other behind-the-scenes elements from our experience in production that may affect a client's decision to increase accessibility for a project, exhibition, or performance. With these thoughts in mind, we've developed an easy-to-use, innovative caption display and audio description system that will revolutionize captioning and accessibility as we know it.
