Tierra Matthews

Tierra Matthews has a diverse range of work experience. Tierra started their career as a Conference Assistant at UNC Charlotte, where they represented the Housing and Residence Life during summer conferences. Tierra then worked as a Resident Advisor, promoting academic excellence and addressing student needs. At the same time, they also worked as a Desk Representative, ensuring smooth check-ins and check-outs for residents.

After their time at UNC Charlotte, Tierra joined Drury Hotels, where they served as a Guest Service Agent, Evening Hostess, and Bartender. Tierra handled guest requests and complaints while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Later, they became an Assistant General Manager, managing a 143-room hotel during a renovation period and increasing annual revenue by 20%.

Following their role at Drury Hotels, Tierra took on a position as an Assistant General Manager and Director of Sales at Suburban Extended Stay Hotel. Currently, they are working as a Claims Consultant at National General Insurance.

Tierra Matthews graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2015 with a Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Communications.
