Dennis Herbert is a seasoned professional in risk management with extensive experience spanning over three decades. Currently serving as the Director of Risk Management at Suburban Propane since February 2018, Dennis previously held the same title at Ascena Retail Group, Inc., where global insurance and risk management programs were consolidated for efficiency. Prior to that, Dennis was the Director of Risk Management at ANN INC., overseeing comprehensive insurance programs and claims adjudication. Early career roles include Risk Manager at The Hartford Insurance Group, focusing on compliance and training development, and various leadership positions at ACE USA/ESIS, where team management and claims processing were key responsibilities. Dennis holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Western Connecticut State University and attended the University of Connecticut.
