Atahualpa Peña

Atahualpa Peña has a varied work experience in the field of DevOps and software engineering. Atahualpa started their career as a DevOps Engineer at HATech LLC in 2018, where they utilized AWS tools, CodePipeline, ECS, and Terraform to deliver robust solutions for customers. Atahualpa also managed alert systems and performed monitoring. In 2020, Atahualpa joined Rodo as a Software Engineer, responsible for writing backend microservices, integrating with databases, and using AWS CodePipeline for CI/CD. Atahualpa also deployed Docker containers and utilized AWS Lambda for microservices deployment. In the same year, they worked at Health Recovery Solutions as a DevOps Engineer, where they focused on maintaining and modifying infrastructure, implementing CI/CD solutions, and developing in-house tools. Currently, Atahualpa serves as the DevOps Team Lead at Success Academy Charter Schools.

Atahualpa Peña obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Universidad Iberoamericana, which they attended from 2012 to 2017. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS), including Amazon Web Services DevOps Engineer - Professional in July 2022, Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner in May 2019, and Amazon Web Services Developer - Associate in October 2020.
