Daniel Zhang has extensive work experience in the hospitality industry, primarily focused on sales and revenue management. Daniel began their career at Sudima Hotels in 2007 as a Revenue Manager and continued in this role until 2011. Daniel then transitioned to the role of Sales Manager - Asia, where they worked from 2013 to 2019. From 2019 to 2020, they served as the Associate Director of Sales - Asia. Currently, as of 2022, they hold the position of Director of Sales - Asia at Sudima Hotels.

From 2005 to 2006, Daniel Zhang attended Victoria University of Wellington. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Tourism Management with Honors, focusing on Tourism and Travel Services Management.
