Christian Wegner

Christian Wegner is an experienced executive with a diverse background in media and consulting. Currently serving as Geschäftsführer at Süddeutsche Zeitung since October 2021 and CEO at Südwestdeutsche Medienholding GmbH since July 2018, Wegner has substantial leadership experience. Additionally, involvement as Beiratsmitglied at Egmont since 2017 highlights ongoing contributions to the media sector. Previous roles include a position as Vorstand at ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG from May 2004 to December 2016 and Project Manager at McKinsey & Company from 1999 to 2004.
