Joachim Hugenschmidt

Joachim Hugenschmidt has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Their most recent position is with Südzucker as the Team Lead for IT-Performance, a role they have held since February 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Group Lead for License Management and IT-Controlling at Südzucker from January 2018 to March 2023. Before joining Südzucker, Joachim worked in Software License Management at the same company from September 2008 to December 2017.

Joachim also had a brief role as a Diploma holder at Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany in March 2008. Prior to that, they gained experience as a Student in the Production Controlling department during their internship at Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG from November 2007 to March 2008.

Beginning their career, Joachim worked as an Apprentice in the Media and Publishing sector at Bibliographisches Institut & F.a. Brockhaus AG / Duden from August 2000 to August 2002.

Joachim Hugenschmidt began their education in 2002 at the University of Mannheim, where they studied Politische Wissenschaft und Regierung. Joachim attended this institution until 2005 before transferring to the University of Applied Sciences Ludwigshafen. From 2005 to 2008, Joachim earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Controlling, Management, and Information from the University of Applied Sciences Ludwigshafen. In 2007, as part of their education, they participated in an Auslandssemester at Häme University of Applied Sciences in Finland, focusing on International Business and Strategic Management.
