Ali Sedik

Ali Sedik is an experienced mechanical engineer currently serving as a Dredge Watch Engineer at the Suez Canal Authority since December 2018, overseeing engine room operations and maintenance on the Mohab Mameesh cutter suction dredger. Prior roles include Mechanical Installations Engineer, responsible for the maintenance and repair of various marine vessels, and Mechanical Tender Engineer at the National Authority for Tunnels, focusing on mechanical installations and compliance inspections. Ali also has a background as a Research Assistant at the National Institute for Standards of Egypt, where testing and calibrating flow devices took place, as well as experience as a Maintenance Engineer at Egyptian Iron and Steel Co., and a Technical Support Mechanical Engineer at International Engineering Development Co. Ali holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Zagazig University, completed in July 2014.
