Hany Abdelkader

Hany AbdelKader is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in governance, risk, and security, currently serving as the Head of IT GRC and Security at Suez Canal Bank since January 2022. Previously, Hany held the position of IT Risk & Control Senior Manager at Attijariwafa Bank Egypt from May 2017 to December 2021. Hany's career at Barclays spanned over 25 years, culminating in the role of IT - Application Security Senior Manager, where responsibilities included applying security standards and conducting risk assessments for various banking systems. Hany began the career in administrative and accounting roles before transitioning into IT, holding part-time positions at Al Amal Hospital and the Family of the Future Association. Hany holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from Cairo University, graduated in 1988.
