Jonathan Lopez

Jonathan Lopez currently serves as a CareerStart Project Engineer at Suffolk Construction, a position held since July 2023. Previously, Jonathan gained valuable experience at New York University - Polytechnic School of Engineering, where responsibilities included troubleshooting technical issues as a Computer Laboratory Monitor from January 2020 to May 2023. Prior internships in construction management and project management provided insights into industry practices, including shadowing project managers and supporting invoicing processes at NJ TRANSIT. As a tutor, Jonathan helped high school students enhance their mathematical skills. Involvement in the NYU Concrete Canoe project showcased Jonathan's practical construction abilities, and early work with the United States Tennis Association as a ball person demonstrated organizational and customer service skills. Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering from New York University - Polytechnic School of Engineering.
