Matthew Moore

Matthew Moore is an experienced counselor and educator currently serving as a Counselor/Instructor in Enrollment Management at Suffolk County Community College since September 2017 and as Adjunct Faculty in Research II (Statistics) at Stony Brook University since January 2015. In addition to these roles, Matthew's background includes a position as Presidential Fellow at Stony Brook University, where responsibilities involved developing strategic initiatives, managing projects, and supporting decision-making through data-driven metrics. As Coordinator of Literacy Services at Patchogue-Medford Library since 2013, Matthew has focused on tutorial services for adult learners. Previous roles include Director of the Suffolk County District Attorney's Community Service Program, Senior Research Analyst at The Research Foundation for SUNY, and Orientation Academic Advisor at Stony Brook University. Matthew holds a Master’s Degree in Social Welfare from Stony Brook University and has an extensive educational background in psychology and liberal arts.
