Dave Grier

Dave Grier has extensive legal and managerial experience, currently serving as Special Deputy County Clerk at the Office of the Suffolk County Clerk since January 2015, overseeing operations and a staff of sixteen in the Court Actions Department. Previously, Dave Grier was a Member at David E. Grier, PLLC, providing legal counsel in areas such as trust and estates, contracts, and real property. Experience also includes serving as Support Magistrate at the Suffolk County Family Court, handling thousands of cases related to family law, and various roles at the Suffolk County Department of Law, including Deputy Bureau Chief and Assistant County Attorney. Earlier in their career, Dave Grier worked in procurement as Buyer/Planner for Applied Digital Data Systems. Educational credentials include a Juris Doctor from St. John's University School of Law and a BA in Economics from Stony Brook University.
