Beata D. Panagopoulos

Beata D. Panagopoulos has extensive experience in library and information services, currently serving as the Assistant Director of Technical Services at Suffolk University's Sawyer Library since October 2010. In this role, Beata oversees the purchasing and access to information materials for library patrons and staff, as well as manages automated systems for library services. Prior experience includes positions at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, where Beata was the Head of Technical Services and also administered the Ombuds Program, and roles at Harvard University Libraries as Head of HKS Library Technical Services. Beata has been actively involved with the American Society for Information Science & Technology (ASIS&T), holding various leadership roles. Academic credentials include a Master of Library and Information Science from Simmons University, a Master of Arts in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and a BA in Politics from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
