Bonnie Duncan is a seasoned creator and performer with extensive experience in hybrid theater, puppetry, and teaching arts. Since 2007, Bonnie has been with The Gottabees, producing and performing innovative theater pieces that blend partner acrobatics, puppetry, physical theater, and film. As an independent contractor since 1998, Bonnie has developed and implemented artist residencies in Boston area schools, with a focus on Massachusetts Language Arts Learning Frameworks for grades K-7. Notable past projects include the MCC STARS grants for the Boston Teachers Union and professional development for Massachusetts Department of Youth Services teachers. As a guest costume designer at Suffolk University since February 2007, Bonnie has contributed to multiple mainstage productions. Additional roles include teaching integrated arts to special needs and ELL students at VSA Massachusetts, serving as a creativity consultant at Babson College, and developing drama curricula for Cambridge Montessori School. Bonnie has a Master's degree in Creative Arts in Learning from Lesley University and a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Clemson University.
