Mitchell Vieira

Mitchell Vieira, MPA, ICMA-CM, MCPPO, currently serves as the Town Administrator for the Town of Rockport, Massachusetts, where responsibilities include acting as the Chief Administrative, Operations, and Financial Officer for the municipality, reporting to a five-member elected Board of Selectmen. With a background that encompasses various roles in local government, including Interim Town Administrator and Assistant Town Administrator & Director of Human Resources in Rockport, as well as multiple elected positions in Seekonk, Mitchell has significant experience in municipal operations, policy formulation, and budget oversight. Additionally, Mitchell is an Adjunct Faculty/Senior Lecturer at Suffolk University, teaching a course focused on career and professional development for seniors. Ongoing educational pursuits include a Doctor of Public Administration at Northcentral University and a Professional Certificate in Strategic Performance Management from Rutgers University.
