Richard Beinecke

Richard Beinecke is a Professor of Public Administration and Health Administration at Suffolk University's Sawyer Business School, where tenure began in 1993. Specializing in graduate and undergraduate education, Richard teaches courses on leadership, U.S. health policy, and global health while conducting research on mental health and public health responses related to the Boston bombings and change leadership. Prior positions include Associate Professor at Suffolk University since 1991, Deputy Director of the Children's Policy Center at Brandeis University from 1992 to 1993, Senior Planner at Harvard Pilgrim Health Care from 1984 to 1992, and Therapist and Director of Children's and Adult Services at United Counseling Service from 1973 to 1979. Richard holds a Doctorate in Public Administration and Health Administration from The George Washington University, a Master’s degree in Social Service Administration from the University of Chicago, and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Williams College.
