Kaushik Mukherjee

Kaushik Mukherjee has had a varied career path, starting in 2004 as an Applications Engineer at Oracle Corporation. In 2007, they moved to Goldman Sachs as an Analyst. In 2008, they founded BigSlick Infotech/AKVenture Info and raised seed capital from Rediff.com and HNIs in 2009 to launch an online insurance startup called Fintact.com. In 2010, they joined McKinsey & Company as an Associate. In 2012, they co-founded FAB BAG, India's largest beauty subscription service. Finally, in 2015, they co-founded SUGAR Cosmetics, a cruelty-free makeup brand that is high on style and higher on performance. Kaushik scaled the brand from INR 0 to 100+ Crores in turnover within 4 years and it is currently available online and 1000+ retail outlets.

Kaushik Mukherjee's education history includes a MBA/PGDM in Business Management from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, which they completed between 2006 and 2008. Kaushik also holds a B.E. (Hons) in Electrical & Electronics from the Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani, which they completed between 2000 and 2004. Before that, they attended Don Bosco School, Calcutta from 1988 to 2000.
