Rob Parker

Rob Parker has extensive work experience in the field of engineering and software development. Rob is currently working at SugarCRM as the Senior Director of Engineering, a position they have held since January 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Engineering at SugarCRM from May 2019 to January 2021.

Before their time at SugarCRM, Rob worked at Salesfusion as the CTO from January 2019 to May 2019. Rob also held the role of Director of Engineering at Salesfusion from January 2018 to January 2019, and before that, they served as the Lead Software Engineer from November 2015 to January 2018.

Rob's previous experience includes working at athenahealth as a Senior Software Engineer and Technical Team Lead for a brief period in 2015, and at Qcept Technologies as a Senior Software Engineer from August 2013 to May 2015.

Prior to that, they worked at M2SYS Technology as a Software Architect and Systems Team Lead from April 2012 to August 2013.

Rob's early career includes working at Cisco as a Senior Software Engineer from August 2010 to April 2012, where they were responsible for designing and implementing a middleware services platform. Rob also worked at Radiant Systems Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer from 2002 to 2010, and at Intercept Technology Inc. as a Software Engineer from January 2000 to May 2001.

Rob Parker earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Information Systems from Clemson University in 1999. Rob then pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology, completing it in 2002.
