Clare McClaren

Clare McClaren has over 20 years of experience in the creative industry. Clare began their career in 1999 as a Designer at Douglas Oliver Design Office, where they provided high level design, art direction and project management. In 2001, they co-founded Brown McClaren Design. In 2005, they founded luxedesign. From 2013 to 2020, they were the Principal, Creative Director at Novella Brandhouse, responsible for overseeing all creative strategy for the firm, guiding vision and execution from start to finish. In 2020, they founded Clare McClaren Creative, offering project-based design services, as well as ongoing creative consultation, strategy and brand audits. Currently, they are the VP of Creative & Merchandising and Creative Director at Sugarwish.

Clare McClaren graduated from The University of Kansas in 1996 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Visual Communications.
