Uzias Ferreira

Uzias Ferreira has a diverse work experience in the field of software development, primarily focusing on Android development. Uzias started their career in 2011 as a Técnico em informática at Info Tech. From 2014 to 2017, they worked at Jera as a System Analyst, where they developed various mobile (Android and IOS) and web applications using technologies such as Java, Kotlin, RxJava, Objective-C, Swift, and Ruby on Rails.

In 2017, Uzias joined Trade Force S.A. as a Mobile Developer and then moved to Runrun.it, where they continued their work as a Mobile Developer. In 2017, they also joined Stone Pagamentos as a Software Development Engineer, where they focused on the development and maintenance of applications for POS systems. Uzias gained experience in Clean Architecture, Reactive Programming, EMVCo, and various testing frameworks and tools.

From 2018 to 2019, Uzias worked at Gigigo - Econocom Group as an Android Developer, responsible for the McDelivery LATAM section of the McDonalds LATAM App. This role involved handling challenges related to scalability, internationalization, localization, and address formats.

In 2019, Uzias joined Youse Seguros as an Android Developer, where they contributed to improving and shipping new features for the company's product. Uzias actively collaborated with cross-functional teams, implemented best development practices, and worked on bug fixing and performance enhancements. Uzias also created and maintained CI/CD pipelines to support the development process.

In 2020, Uzias joined Zup Innovation as a Specialist Android Developer, where they worked on an open-source library focused on server-driven UI called Beagle. Uzias was responsible for unit testing, bug fixing, performance improvements, and continuously exploring and implementing new technologies to enhance development efficiency.

In 2021, Uzias joined XP Inc. as an Android Engineer, contributing to the development of Android applications. Currently, in 2022, they are working at Suggestic as an Android Developer.

Throughout their career, Uzias has demonstrated expertise in Android development, including proficiency in various programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Uzias has consistently embraced modern and innovative architectures and practices in their work.

Uzias Ferreira obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Estácio, where they studied from 2018 to 2022. Additionally, they earned the Scrum Fundamentals Certified (SFC) certification from CertiProf® in January 2019.
