Suvi Haimi is the co-founder and CEO of Sulapac, a Finnish company that produces sustainable and biodegradable packaging materials. Prior to Sulapac, Haimi worked as an adjunct professor at Clinicum, Faculty of Medicine, University of Helsinki, a senior project researcher at 20Med Therapeutics, and a senior researcher at the Department of Biomaterials Science and Technology at the University of Twente in the Netherlands. Haimi has also worked as a project manager at Suvi'stola Research Ltd and as a researcher at Regea institute for regenerative medicine, University of Tampere.

Suvi Haimi has worked as an adjunct professor in the field of tissue engineering at the University of Tampere from 1925 to 2018. Suvi has also been a doctor of philosophy in medical biomaterials at the University of Tampere from 1925 to 2018. Lastly, they have obtained a master's degree in biochemistry from the University of Tampere from 1925 to 2018.
