Joshua Ward

Joshua Ward has gained extensive experience in engineering and project management throughout their career. Joshua started their professional journey as an Engineer/Machine Operator at New York Blower Company from April 2007 to May 2010. Afterward, they joined Sound Technologies, LLC as a Project Manager, overseeing various aspects of project management from CAD drawing to installation, from August 2010 to October 2011. Following this, they joined Purdue University North Central in September 2012, where they held two positions concurrently. Joshua served as a Machining Lab Instructor, teaching students the proper use of machining equipment, while also functioning as a CAD Instructor, guiding freshman students in file organization and design flow. Their time at Purdue University North Central ended in January 2017. Since October 2011, Joshua has been associated with Sullivan-Palatek, Inc., starting as a Lead Design Engineer and later progressing to the role of Chief Engineer, Portable Division. In this role, they manage portable product lines ranging from 24 HP to 800 HP, working closely with multiple engineers and the Portable Engineering R&D Department. Joshua has designed complete packages and collaborated with engine manufacturers and cooler manufacturers to optimize engine options for maximum package flexibility.

Joshua Ward has a Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue University Northwest in Mechanical Engineering Technology, which they obtained between 2005 and 2010. Before attending Purdue, they attended Ball State University from 2003 to 2005, although it is not specified whether they obtained a degree or pursued a field of study at that time.

In addition to their formal education, Joshua has also obtained several certifications. In September 2013, they received the SolidWorks Flow Simulation certification from DASI Solutions. In the same month, they also obtained the PowerVision Configuration Studio Training Basic/Advanced certification from Murphy/Enovation Controls. Furthermore, in March 2013, they acquired another certification in SolidWorks Routing from DASI Solutions.
