Gifford Decker, P.E. has extensive work experience in engineering and consulting roles. Gifford is currently serving as the Vice President of Engineering at Sullivan Process Controls. Prior to that, they worked as an Independent Consultant at Decker Consulting. Before their consulting role, they held positions at Flowserve Corporation as an Engineering Manager and at MOGAS Industries, Inc. as an R&D Engineering Manager. Gifford also worked at FLOWSERVE FCD as a Senior R&D Engineer Specialist. Gifford began their career as a Research Assistant at Brigham Young University, where they published papers and developed models related to predicting viscous adhesion forces in the human vocal folds. Gifford also worked as a Docutech Operator at the university.
Gifford Decker, P.E. pursued their education in the field of Mechanical Engineering. Gifford began their academic journey by attending Snowflake High School from 1994 to 1997, where they obtained their High School Degree.
Continuing their education at Brigham Young University, Gifford Decker earned their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from 1999 to 2004. Gifford furthered their studies at the same institution, obtaining a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from 2004 to 2006.
In addition to their educational achievements, Decker also obtained certifications to strengthen their professional qualifications. Gifford obtained the Certified Professional Engineer accreditation from the State of Utah in June 2010. Furthermore, in June 2015, they earned the Professional Engineer State of Texas certification from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors.
