Carlo Pinto

Carlo Pinto has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Carlo is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Sulmara since December 2022. Prior to this role, Carlo held the position of Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at Sulmara from March 2021 to December 2022.

Before joining Sulmara, Carlo was the Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Next Geosolutions from January 2019 to March 2021. Carlo also served as the Founder and Sales & Marketing Director at Next Geosolutions from March 2015 to January 2019.

Carlo's earlier experience includes working at UTEC where they held various roles such as EMEA - Regional Sales Manager from January 2013 to February 2015, General Manager from July 2011 to January 2013, and Regional Sales & Marketing Manager from April 2011 to January 2012.

Prior to their time at UTEC, Carlo worked at GeoLab as a Commercial Manager from March 2006 to March 2011 and as a Survey Manager from January 2004 to February 2006.

Their career began at GeoLab Technical Services Ltd as an Offshore Project Manager from 1999 to 2002. Before that, they worked at GeoLab as an Offshore Staff (Surveyor, Geo, Party Chief) and Project Manager from January 1997 to December 1999.

Carlo Pinto obtained their MSC degree in Environmental Sciences from the University of Naples 'Parthenope' in the period of 1993-1998. In addition, they have obtained several certifications including Conceptual Selling and Strategic Selling from Miller Heiman Europe GmbH, an MHI Global company, in November 2012. Carlo also completed the Time Charter Masterclass from BIMCO in March 2009.
