Omar al Omari

Omar Al Omari serves as the Head of Quality Assurance and Academic Accreditation Unit at Sultan Qaboos University since September 2017, overseeing quality assurance and accreditation processes within the university and College of Nursing. With over 15 years of experience in nursing education, program development, and academic leadership, Omar has held positions including Full Professor and Assistant Dean for Undergraduate Studies, focusing on fostering excellence and innovation in healthcare training. Previous experience includes roles at Jerash University as Associate Professor and Head of Nursing Department, and positions at Curtin University and King Saud University as Research Assistant and Lecturer, respectively. Omar holds a Ph.D. in Nursing from Curtin University, a Fellowship in Responsible Conduct of Research from Jordan University of Science and Technology, and multiple degrees in nursing and mental wellbeing.
