Ryan Wheen has extensive experience in product engineering and development, currently serving as the Head of Product Engineering at Sulzer Pumps UK Ltd since September 2005. In this role, Ryan leads the Advance Hydraulic, Mechanical, C&I, and Electrical Engineering teams, alongside the Product Development team, providing technical support for global sales and tendering initiatives. Additionally, Ryan has held the position of Global Technology Program Manager for Power, coordinating product development strategies in line with the company’s strategic objectives. Previous roles include Head of Product Design, Head of Product Development, Deputy Lead Mechanical Analyst, and Mechanical Analyst. Prior to Sulzer, Ryan worked as a Design Engineer at Montracon Ltd. Educationally, Ryan holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Sheffield Hallam University, completed in 2002.
