Sofiane Tamouza

Sofiane Tamouza, PhD, serves as the Head of Process Plants Europe/Americas and Head of Engineering - Process Plants at Sulzer since January 2019, overseeing engineering teams across multiple disciplines to ensure quality and customer satisfaction throughout project development. Prior to this, Sofiane worked at TechnipFMC as a Senior Project Manager and Process Manager, and at Technip France, where the roles included Head of Department for Process & Loss Prevention. Sofiane began the career as a Process Engineer at Axens and as a Chemical Engineer at PSA Peugeot Citroën. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Process Engineering from Institut Français du Pétrole, a Master's degree in Chemical Kinetics from IFP School, and a Bachelor of Engineering from Ecole Nationale Polytechnique d'Alger.
