Beatriz Acevedo is the CEO and Co-Founder of Suma Wealth. Beatriz has over twenty years of experience in the entertainment industry, having served as a creative executive and cultural consultant for several major television networks and motion picture studios. In 1995, they founded HIP Entertainment Group and produced over 1,000 hours of original programming, earning three Emmy awards in the process. In 2012, they co-founded mitú, a digital media company that brings a Latino POV to mainstream entertainment. Under their leadership, mitú reached nearly 100 million people in the US each month and earned over 400 million content views.

Beatriz Acevedo has a degree in marketing communications from UC San Diego and a certificate in entrepreneurship/business scaling from Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Beatriz also has a certificate in FinTech from Harvard Business School and a certificate in Fintech from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business.
