Melissa Russo

Melissa Russo currently serves as the Director of Marketing Operations at Sumitomo Pharma America, Inc. Since July 2023, Melissa has built upon a strong background in the pharmaceutical industry, having previously held roles such as Associate Director of Marketing Operations at the same company and Associate Director of Field Enablement at Sunovion Pharmaceuticals from May 2021 to July 2023. Earlier experience includes a position as Global Product Manager in Field Channel and CRM at GSK, and extensive tenure at J. Knipper & Company, Inc., where Melissa progressed from Account Manager to Director of Professional Services over more than a decade. Melissa began the professional journey as a Pharmaceutical Marketing/PR Intern at Pierre Fabre Dermo-Cosmetique Inc. Melissa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing and International Business from Ramapo College of New Jersey, earned between 2006 and 2009.
