Dr S S Ravikumar

Dr S S Ravikumar has over 20 years of work experience in the agricultural industry. Dr S S is currently working as the Head of Product Development at Sumitomo Chemical India Ltd since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked at PI Industries Ltd as a Senior Group Leader in Insecticides from March 2018 to January 2023. Dr Ravikumar also had a long tenure at Bayer CropScience Limited, where they held various roles including Head of Innovation in Bayer Environment Science, Agronomic Development in Herbicides, and Field Development Manager. Dr S S worked at Bayer CropScience Limited from 2006 to 2018. Before that, they worked at Bayer CropScience Limited as a Field Development Manager from 2003 to 2006 and Aventis CropScience Limited as a Field Development Trainee from 2002 to 2003.

Dr S S Ravikumar completed their Ph.D. in Agriculture Entomology from Choudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hissar. Dr S S pursued this degree from 1998 to 2001. The focus of their studies was in the field of Agriculture.
