Jeff Newton

Jeff Newton is a seasoned professional in product management with extensive experience in the power transmission industry. Currently serving as a Senior Product Manager at Sumitomo Drive Technologies since July 2023, Newton is responsible for managing pricing and business/product development related to reducers, motors, and gearboxes. Previously, Newton held the position of Manager of Product Management at Diamond-Drives by Timken, where significant improvements were made to quote lead times. Additional experience includes roles at U.S. Tsubaki Power Transmission, LLC, where responsibilities spanned product development, sales management, and customer service, as well as freelance sports writing for Daily Herald Media Group. Newton holds a Master's in Business Administration and a Bachelor's in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
